HealthyUs was created to make healthy living simple, personal, and sustainable — for individuals, partners, and families.
Despite years of regular exercise — running, training, and staying active — I wasn’t seeing the results I expected. I was putting in the effort, staying disciplined, and doing what most people are told to do, yet my health goals still felt out of reach.
That’s when I began digging deeper into nutrition and fitness science. What I discovered changed everything: exercise alone wasn’t the missing piece — nutrition was. Not willpower. Not motivation. What I was eating mattered far more than I realized.
Determined to fix this, I worked with a dietician and started following a personalized meal plan tailored to my goals. It worked — at first. But very quickly, real-life problems began to surface.
The plans included foods I didn’t enjoy or couldn’t imagine eating long-term. I could follow them for a few weeks, but they never felt like a lifestyle I could sustain. I needed something built around foods I actually love.
In my home, there’s one kitchen and one cook — and meals are prepared for everyone. Cooking separate dishes for different diets simply isn’t realistic. I needed a way for the whole family to eat the same meals while still supporting individual health goals with small, smart adjustments.
Constantly checking in to track calories, adjust plans, and monitor progress was time-consuming and costly. I wanted something simpler — a smarter way to automatically adapt nutrition based on activity, intake, and real-life changes.
When I searched for apps that could solve these problems, I was surprised. Nothing truly did it all. That’s when the idea for HealthyUs was born
